South Central & Southern Ohio Stations “We know you would help your Catholic Brothers and Sisters overseas… Dear St. Gabriel Radio Family, You are receiving this letter from us because you have given in the past to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to your area of Ohio through St. Gabriel Radio Catholic radio. We have been granted a unique opportunity to build two new FM Catholic radio stations in the Chillicothe/Circleville area and in the Portsmouth/ West Portsmouth area, but we need your help. If you have been listening to WFOT 89.5 FM in the Mansfield Lexington area or WUCO 1270 AM in Marysville/Columbus, then you know how spiritually valuable these stations are. Where else would you be able to turn to hear the truth about our faith? St. Gabriel radio will be giving our traditional Parish Pledge talks in these new areas in order to raise the funding needed to build these two new stations, however economic conditions in the south central and southern end of our state are not as strong as in the Columbus/Marysville and Lexington/Mansfield areas. We know you would help your Catholic brothers and sisters if this were an overseas mission; won’t you help with God’s family in your own state of Ohio? You, our St. Gabriel radio family, already know the benefits of listening to WFOT and/or WUCO Catholic Radio. So we are asking for your urgent one time only help to bring our signal to those less fortunate than you, in Ohio! Won’t you help us to help your brothers and sisters in south central and southern Ohio to be able to enjoy the graces that God provides through a local Catholic radio station? Our request for help from you is urgent because we have a very limited amount of time to build these two stations. The government granted us two licenses to build these new Catholic stations, but the clock is ticking on the time we have to complete the construction and be on the air. If we fail to finish the projects in the allotted time we will completely lose the opportunity and the two licenses will expire forever and not be renewed. You can make a huge difference by sending your donation today. We only need to raise a total of $130,000. That is a very attainable goal! But we can not do it without your help. If each St. Gabriel radio listener who gets this letter sends a one time only gift of just $35 dollars we will have enough to build both stations immediately. Just think about it, the price of a daily cup of coffee for about one month, can reach hundreds of thousands of souls for Jesus Christ with the two new Catholic radio stations. Many of you will be able to afford a gift of more than $35 dollars, if so please be as generous as you can for those who will only be able to afford a smaller gift. We can be on the air with both of these new Catholic stations within 90 days of when we begin the building process.
